To begin, it’s important to clarify what we mean by “life purpose”. Many people feel overwhelmed when asked this question because they automatically assume that their purpose has to be something grandiose, and anything less than that is not worth considering.
As we are all unique, our life purposes are completely different from one another.
However, this is not the case. Since we are all unique, our life purposes will also be unique. It’s possible that your purpose is to become a singer, a kindergarten teacher, or even to take better care of the flowers you buy.
It’s essential to remember that there is no “right” or “wrong” life purpose, and it doesn’t have to be something that makes you famous or wealthy. Instead, it should be something that brings you a sense of joy, meaning, and satisfaction.
In short, your life purpose is anything that brings fulfilment to your life and aligns with your values and passions.

If you are experiencing confusion or dissatisfaction in your life, it may be helpful to conduct a personal audit to identify areas that need improvement.
This process can allow you to evaluate whether you are living up to your full potential and whether you are in alignment with your deepest desires.
To conduct a personal audit, start by reflecting on your current circumstances and how they make you feel. Consider your relationships, career, health, hobbies, and other areas of your life that are important to you. Ask yourself if these aspects of your life align with your values and goals, and if they are bringing you fulfilment and joy.
As you conduct your audit, keep in mind that it’s okay to make changes. Your life purpose and passions may shift over time, and it’s important to be open to new possibilities and experiences. With self-awareness and a willingness to grow and evolve, you can create a life that aligns with your authentic self and brings you happiness and fulfilment.
Living with purpose is available to everyone. The life you want to live is available for you, you don’t need to create it from scratch, because it’s already within you.
Ways you can get clear about your unique purpose
- Be an alien
Have you ever imagined yourself as an alien? It may sound strange, but try to envision floating down from outer space and inhabiting your own body. From this new perspective, everything around you is entirely new, and you have a fresh opportunity to analyze your environment, your social gatherings, your relationships, and all the possibilities you have around you.
What can you do with all the awesomeness around you?
What do you need to change?
This exercise is an excellent way to change your perspective on yourself and your life; - Take that next imperfect step
Speaking from experience, I used to be someone who was always waiting for the perfect moment. But the truth is, the perfect moment rarely comes along, and I was just wasting my time waiting for something that was not going to be handed over to me. Stop believing those what-ifs and take action. You don’t need to know exactly where you are going and how you will get there, but you can figure it out as you go along.
Most answers reveal themselves through doing, not thinking; - Do your best wherever you are at
Before you can live your dream life and reach your goals, you may experience some setbacks and challenges. Progress is not always a straight path, but rather, it comes with ups and downs. Promise yourself that you will do your best wherever you are at, and remember all those little things you need to do daily to create a life you love and reach your goals. Do them with joy and motivation.
In the long run, this is how you will point yourself in the direction you wish to go; - Listen to your intuition
If you want to get in touch with who you are and how you want to live, start listening to yourself. Dedicate some time to turn up your intuition, which might be buried beneath years of social expectations, upbringing, self-doubt, and limiting beliefs. But trust me, it’s still there.
Sit quietly and listen. Your soul, your mind, your body will give you plenty of answers and pointers. Stick with it.
Often, we convince ourselves that we are uncertain about what we truly desire, but the reality is that we are afraid to confront our deepest desires and vocalize them. We fear that our dreams may not come to fruition, that they are too grandiose or unattainable.
Gather up all the audacity and courage you can come across within you, as things start to change you will gain confidence and self-esteem.
Enjoy your journey.
Until next time… love yourself,
Sabri
